We go direct to source the best ingredients from the Nordics and all across the globe from ethical and responsible farmers and producers for you to enjoy! Everything we serve is daily prepared by us, freshly made-to-order, in-house!
There’s so much more to Nordic food than pickled herring and meatballs. Stretching from the midnight sun of northern Sweden to the flat, fertile fields of Finland, Scandinavian food culture is a lot more varied than you might think. That said, several dishes and ingredients link all the regions together, bringing a uniquely Nordic food experience to life. Scandinavian food is simple. It’s natural and honest, made with the staple produce found on the land or from the sea. For Rye House, trying to turn traditional dishes into fancy and fussy affairs isn’t true to who we are. We pride ourselves being the first Nordic casual dining take-away in Hong Kong serving authentic Nordic home-cooked meals, breakfast, gourmet Salads, all day Signature Sandwiches and “FIKA” (Scandinavian Tea-time) and dinner. We have special baking days for freshly baked Nordic Buns and cakes. No-nonsense Nordic coffee is available all day long.
